Relation to thought of Japanese

Every country has each thought. They are differ, respectively. It differs also in Japan and the United States. The thought is reflected also in the hero program.

Japanese people introduce themselves to the first person to exist. It is action natural as a Japanese. Japanese people perform it also at the time of a battle.

Do you know the samurai? A samurai certainly introduces himself, when fighting with an enemy. He teaches against his thing and he also gets to know about a enemy. And the partner of each other is got to know and it fights on equal terms. Therefore, they do not pounce from back toward an enemy, or do not pounce by unexpected attack. A samurai does not use a cowardly hand. They always fight fair.

Furthermore, a samurai fights by 1 to 1. When cooperating in a group, and certainly fighting, it fights by 1 to 1. Arms had only the sword in the time in which the samurai was. It is because a samurai fights only by 1 to 1. Since it fights by 1 to 1, it fights by point-blank range. There were no gun and bow and arrows which aim at a long distance partner in the time.

They bear their name first, when it meets an enemy. It gets down, when he has ridden on the horse. It is the action which shows sincerity.　They fight on equal terms, after showing sincerity to each other.

A long time ago, the occurrence of a Mongol invasion was in Japan. The army of the Mongolia Empire has attacked to Japan in 1274. The Japanese of those days was also adopting the same way of fighting as a samurai. However, how to fight Mongolians was different. They rode on the horse, are groups and attacked Japan.

Do you know kabuki? Probably, especially kabuki will be famous also in Japanese culture overseas. There is "striking pose" in kabuki.

A "striking pose" is that a player makes a pose toward a spectator, when it rises on the boards.

This is an everyday occurrence for kabuki.

The pause of the "striking pose" is taken in by the transformation pause of Masked Rider.

Enemies

As for a hero program, a hero always plays an active part. An enemy will be pushed down on a hero. However, an enemy also has various persons and there are various stories.  When they appears front of a hero, they only do bad things. it is wrong. They have a reason for doing a bad thing.

Probably, many people think that only a hero should play an active part. However, an enemy also has various persons. They sometimes have the special past. Moreover, an enemy is not necessarily man. A monster, an animal, and a robot may become an enemy.

The monster became a boom when Ultraman was extremely popular. I introduced this with the front report.

Although Ultraman does not change each time, a monster changes each time. The work company of the program made various monsters. Because, it is for not boring people. People were looking forward to the monster which comes out every week. There are various kinds of monsters.

They are various -being atrociousness, jocularity, lonely and lovely. There is also a monster with feeling just like man.

Do you know the Vartan star people? The Vartan star people are the most famous persons in Ultraman's monster. If I asked some people that "Who do you know Ultraman's monster?", all Japanese will answer it as the Vartan star people. The Vartan star people appear from Ultraman's second story. It is a monster very old in Ultraman who continues for many years. His appearance is very strange. His face seems to be a cicada. And his hands seems to be scissors of crayfish.

I will introduce one more and a monster.

Do you know Jamira? He is also doing the strange figure as looking.

You may think that you are fearful, seeing him.

He vomits fire from a mouth and tried to break a town. Apparently, he is an atrocious monster. However, in fact, he is man.

He was an astronaut a long time ago. However, he lost his way in the universe. And he crash-landed on the planet without water. He waited for the help of a mother country. However, the mother country did not help him, in order to conceal an accident. Jamira has been forsaken in the mother country. While he lived on the planet without water, his body was adapted for environment. Even if he did not have water, he could live. Instead, his body grew large and the skin became like the ground. His figure was no longer man.

Since a mother country is retaliated, he has returned to the earth. He despaired of having been forsaken. He attacks the earth because there is a very sad reason.

Water became his a disagreeable thing when he became a monster. When killed by Ultraman, he was poured the water which is his weak point, and dies. The water for which he had searched for a long time became his weak point. It is a very ironical talk.

When I was young, I thought that Jamira was a fearful monster. However, he has the sad past there. An ultra monster has the deep back. I think that it is the fun of an ultra monster. 

Friend and partner

The hero cannot fight only alone. Someone always supports them. If Spider-Man is taken for an example, Peter, the hero is supported by his grandmother. Since he is young, his grandmother is taking care of it. A grandmother does not know that he is Spider-Man. However, she supports to his mentally.

There are two kinds of people supporting a hero. They are a person supporting their battle, and a person who support them mentally. People supporting a battle could call it a war comrade. It is always in the place of a battle and supports a hero.

I will introduce the example.

I would like to explain squadron series before. It is a team formed some heroes. This series starts 30 years ago and still continues.

For them, each color was decided.

They are mainly red, blue, green, yellow, pink. There are five colors.

Black and white may sometimes be added.

This is the trend which began from "the Goranger". For every ranger, red is a leader. And blue is an intellectual fighter and green is a cheerful fighter. Pink is a polite woman and yellow is a fine woman. Although a ranger changes every year, this color hardly changes.

And they have a friend who always supports. It is mainly a doctor and an intellectual. They collect an enemy's data or fix arms. They do not fight. However, a hero's battle is supported. Heroes cannot fight, if they are not.

"The car ranger" is made into an example in this time. They have a friend called "Dap". He is the alien who came from other stars. Although he is still a child, he can use magic. However, he does not actually fight on the battlefield. He is a commander who takes out directions to a car ranger. Arms and a tank will be mobilized if he issues directions. He is an irreplaceable existence for a car ranger.

I will explain the friend who supports a hero mentally. It is a friend, a sweetheart, and a family.

Do you remember the tiger mask? I introduced before. He is solitary.

he fights on a mat alone. He fights in order to contribute a prize for an orphanage. He was also living in the orphanage. He loves children. However, how to fight a wrestler is cruel. He sometimes uses violence. Therefore, he is being covered with the mask in order to hide his true character. Therefore, the children of an orphanage do not know the true character of a tiger mask. However, they know the heroes "Naoto". He is covered with a mask in fight time, when he meet children, he become Naoto. Children also know the Naoto and tiger mask. However, they do not know that two persons are the same person. Naoto passes as a youth kind to, when you meet children. However, when fighting, it is covered with a mask and a little violent battle is held. He is very solitary.

However, Naoto is encouraged by children. He is aided even if children do not know his true character. Naoto is encouraged by the aid and fights every day. He is helped mentally. 

Weak point

Is a weak point in you? People have a weak point. A hero is also the same. The weak point which the hero has is introduced this time.

A hero is strong. However, there is no perfect hero. Anyone has a weak point. Moreover, a tale is interesting if a hero has a weak point. A writer sets up a hero's weak point. Because a tale becomes interesting. Heroes fight difficult in a story and overcome it. The process gives children courage and impression. What do you remember, if it is called a hero's weak point?

I think a typical thing is Ultraman. Ultraman can be in the earth only 3 minutes. Ultraman comes to the earth from ultra's star. However, if 3 minute passes, the color timer currently attached to his breast will blink. Then, Ultraman has to return.

In fact, there is an inside story in this setup. The time restriction is a thing which is not only what only heaps up a tale. While Ultraman was broadcasting, the production company seldom had expense. However, money was required to photo the battle scene of a hero program. Therefore, the work company decided to shorten time of a battle scene. Then, the time restriction of the color timer was set up. The work company saved the time of the battle scene. A setup of time restriction did not only make a tale interesting. There, it was the rational reason.

If it is called an American hero's weak point, what is it? I like a batman and Spider-Man. There is a common weak point. It is "not understood by others." The hero has to hide himself. While living usually, the fact that it can be disguised as a hero is hidden. When it is disguised as a hero, its figure is hidden. Therefore, they are solitary. Nobody encourages him. They have the weak point of being solitary.

A Japanese hero is also solitary. It fights with an enemy so that they may also be disclosed to nobody as well as an American hero. Why do they hide true character, and live and fight it? It is because their family and friend will be targeted by the enemy. A hero also has a family, a friend, and a sweetheart. They always support and get courage. However, it also sometimes becomes a weak point. If an enemy abducted a hero's family , they cannot do what, either. In a hero program, are abduction a sweetheart or a family  and a hero sometimes often actually fights desperately.　Therefore, they hide true character and live. It is because he does not want to sacrifice important people.

On the contrary, there are some heroes who overcame the weak point. Bain who disguises himself as batman hate bats the first. He had a trauma. He has fallen into a well, when young.　Then, many bats pounced on him. As for him, the bat became disagreeable after it. However, since it became a hero, he had to conquer fear. It was a bat which has the most fearful him.

He conquered the bat at last and got used to the real hero after long practice.

Difference between japan and foreign country

I would like to teach about the difference in the feature of a Japanese hero and an overseas hero this time. It is mainly made the hero of an American comic.

Recently, Spider-Man, a badman, etc... became a movie. They are popular in every country in the world. What is their charm? Of course, it was shown even in Japan. I also liked the American hero and went to the movie theater. A Japanese hero is wonderful. However, the American hero has the strong point different from a Japanese hero. It was very interesting for me to have compared a Japanese hero with an American hero.

First, I will compare from appearance.

An American hero has muscles and his body is large.

Like this picture, they are brawny. Speaking of an American hero, they are tall and have an image called a strong man. Because there is surely an image that it is strong if there are muscles in the United States. Probably the strength of appearance is important in the United States. The hero who does not look strong will not get used to a popular person.

On the other hand, the strength of a hero's appearance is not related to original strength in Japan. A hero strong against looking weakly rather is popular.

Furthermore, the American hero is disguising himself in many cases.

Although introduced also last time, a Japanese hero transform and an American hero disguises himself. An American hero changes into the clothes which he made, and fights. And when covered with a mask, there are many heroes by whom the jaw is not hidden. The jaw of the badman is not wrapped in a mask, either. There is a deep reason in this.

Where do you think the place in which feeling appears most in a face is?

Probably Japanese people will answer it as eyes.

However, Americans are different. They think that feeling appears in a mouth. It is just going to differ from Japanese people greatly. This difference appears also in the face mark of both countries. A face mark is "emoticon." For example, when expressing, Japanese people express "I am glad" “(^_^)" American is ":-)".

Japanese people express "I an sad" “(>_<)”American ":-("

The face mark of Japan changed the form of eyes, and the U.S. face mark has changed the form of the mouth.

Americans think that man's feature appears in a mouth. Therefore, only the jaw of the hero's mask may be visible.

Next, how depending on which a Japanese hero and an American hero fight is different.

A Japanese hero says the name of work, when attacking. For example, Kamen Rider calls it "a rider kick !!", when kicking to an enemy. And it attacks as a partner. For people who have not seen a Japanese hero, it may be somewhat humorous. However it is an everyday occurrence in Japan.

I have noticed that there is an interesting difference, when the hero of two countries is compared. When it was investigated, the difference in the thought of a country came out.

The difference in culture appears also in a hero.
